Since its inception in 1996 the Cavaliers have been remarkably successful in attracting, retaining and developing athletes because we insist on high quality coaching and implement a philosophy of ‘players-at-the-centre’ of the Club. We encourage and support athletes in their netball and personal development - not just for State League competition but for higher state and national pathways and to enrich their life opportunities. We celebrate the individual athlete and team achievements.

The history of the Club from 1996-2015 has been extensively documented in the book “Courting Victory – Twenty Years of the Cavaliers in the Tasmanian Netball League” by Bret Salinger and Chris Carstens.
